Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of hedgestonelabs.com and the Hedgestone app ("Hedgestone," "we," "us"), built and operated by Alhallak Technologies. Creating an account, buying a report, or subscribing to Hedgestone Pro means you agree to them.

What Hedgestone is

Hedgestone stress-tests a hypothetical portfolio of tangible and financial assets (gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, cash) against historical crises and forward Monte Carlo projections, and estimates the real cost of holding physical metal. It computes results from historical and simulated data.

What Hedgestone isn't

Hedgestone is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, custodian, or tax advisor. It doesn't buy, sell, hold, or transfer any real asset, security, or currency, and nothing on the site is an offer or recommendation to do so. As stated throughout the site: Hedgestone produces educational estimates and historical or simulated illustrations, not predictions. Past performance and simulated results do not guarantee future outcomes. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 to create an account or make a purchase.
  • Keep your credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity under your account.
  • Keep your email current; it's how we reach you about your account and billing.
  • Delete your account any time from the account page.

Plans and billing

  • Building and stress-testing a portfolio is free. Hedgestone Pro is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe at the rates shown on the Pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
  • Cancel any time from your account's billing portal. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.
  • A single PDF report can also be bought one-time, with no subscription.
  • Charges are generally non-refundable, but email us and we'll look at requests case by case.
  • We may change plans or prices going forward. Changes don't apply to a period you've already paid for.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape or automate access beyond normal use, try to bypass rate limits or bot checks, reverse engineer the site to resell its data or engine, or use Hedgestone for anything unlawful.

Ownership

The Hedgestone name, site, design, and underlying engine belong to us. The portfolios and inputs you save are yours; using Hedgestone just gives us the license to store and show them back to you.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Hedgestone is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Hedgestone and Alhallak Technologies aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made using the site's estimates.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Hedgestone changes. We'll update the date above when we do; continuing to use Hedgestone afterward means you accept the update.
